Updates - NAASS 2021 Virtual Summit 

  • NAASS Summit registration is now open! 
  • Learn more about registration and our dynamic keynote speaker, former Deputy Secretary of Education Jim Shelton, here.  
  • Additionally, fill out this brief survey by 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Friday, July 23to share the topics and questions that you would most like to see addressed at the Virtual Summit, November 8-12, 2021
  • We encourage everyone who plans to attend the Summit (not just voting members) to fill out the survey, so that we may better understand the needs of all members, so please share this message with your teams.

Renew your NAASS Membership Before the End of July! 

  • It's almost July 31, which means if you haven't renewed your NAASS membership, today is the day to do it! 
  • You can renew at the $450 member institution rate here. Don't forget- renewed members receive a discount to the 2021 Virtual Summit!

Nominations - NAASS President-Elect Form and Upcoming Webinar 

  • It's almost time for NAASS to hold it's annual election for President-Elect. 
  • Fil out this form to self-nominate or nominate a current NAASS member for this key leadership role by 11:59 p.m. E.T., Friday, August 6, 2021All nominees will be contacted by a member of the Nominations and Elections committee to discuss their interest in running and reviewing next steps in the election process.
  • Additionally, the NAASS Community is invited to learn more about the President-Elect position and other leadership opportunities in a webinar led by members of the Executive Committee and Administrative Council
  • The webinar is scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 - RSVP to the discussion here

Creating Actionable Change - Call for Interim Committee Chair 

  • Creating Actionable Change is needing an Interim Committee Chair for the next several months. 
  • The commitment would be to attend a monthly Administrative Council meeting, and to meet with your committee on a regular basis to impact change and to work on strategic planning items as they relate to the organization.
