The NAASS Beat: June 2022

Posted By Administration, Wednesday, June 29, 2022

It's the midpoint of summer, so we are filling you in on all the latest updates from the North American Association of Summer Sessions!

Time to Renew your NAASS Membership

  • We are nearly a month away before the NAASS year ends on July 31, 2022.
  • On that day, your current 2021-2022 membership will expire if you haven't renewed yet.
  • Renew here for $450 before July 31 for 2022 - 2023.
  • Questions about membership renewals? Contact us

Annual Conference- Register Today!

  • Have you reserved your spot for Philadelphia? With the start of the fiscal year coming up for many of our institutions, there's no better time to register than now.
  • Register for the Annual Conference and get a preview of what to expect at #NAASS22 here
  • Contact NAASS if you have any questions about this year's conference.

Submit a Conference Proposal - Deadline Extended

  • The deadline to submit program proposals for the 2022 conference has been extended to July 15!
  • Anyone attending the annual conference and who wants to participate can submit a proposal to present on a topic during a concurrent session or in the poster session. Click here to start your proposal!
  • Put together a presentation yourself or collaborate with others to discuss a topic as a group. Each concurrent session is an hour in length, but you can structure that time however you want.
  • For any questions or to discuss ideas, contact Carrie Nordlund at carrie_nordlund@brown.edu or Maeve Skidmore at mskidmor@smu.edu.
  • PLUS: Presenting a poster is a great opportunity to share something you’ve been working on and discuss it one-on-one with your colleagues. Posters are especially well-suited for information intended for graphs! For questions or to discuss ideas, contact Christopher Pevey Harry at christopher.peveyharry@wisc.edu about the poster session.
  • Submit your program proposal here
