With most of our summer sessions coming to a close, we are getting you ready for #NAASS22 in Philadelphia with all the latest updates from the Association. 

 

Announcing the Next NAASS President-Elect - Debra Boucher 

  • NAASS voting members have selected the Association’s next President-Elect: Debra Boucher from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  
  • Debra Boucher will be begin her tenure as NAASS President-Elect at the annual business meeting on Tuesday, Oct 4, which will conclude the annual conference in Philadelphia.

Deadline to Register for the Conference is TODAY!  

  • Have you reserved your spot to Philadelphia for the annual conference? Today, Wednesday, August 31 is the deadline! 
  • Click here to register for the first in-person NAASS conference since 2019. 
  • The deadline to reserve your hotel is Friday, Sept. 9. Visit this page to learn more. 

Volunteer for the Conference 

  • Get involved at #NAASS22! 
  • Become a program reviewer (helps assemble the conference program and theme) or a conference volunteer (assists with logistics such as registration desk, presentation moderators, etc.). 
  • Contact NAASS to get involved. 

Renew your NAASS Membership 

  • NAASS is still accepting membership renewals for 2022-2023.

Door Prizes at the Annual Conference 

  • Attending the annual conference? We invite you to bring an item(s) for door prizes that will be part of the president’s reception on Sunday Oct. 2.  
  • Item ideas are hand-crafted items, regional specialty food items associated with your state, or campus items. Items can be dropped off at the registration table at the conference or mailed ahead to the hotel directly.
  • If mailing ahead, please follow these directions:

Pre-Conference New Administrators' Workshop 

  • Are you or a colleague a new administrator or newly responsible for any aspect of running a summer/winter/special session program, including overall administration, marketing, curriculum, hiring, communication, and reporting? 
  • Join 10 experienced and dynamic workshop leaders as they take you on a tour of the summer/special sessions world and send you off with real-world tools at the New Administrators' Workshop. 
  • The pre-conference workshop will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Philadelphia.
